Sadly... Not worth your time
Was so very excited for this! Glad that my husband & other care helpers could access my blood sugars with ease... Sadly no. The app itself rarely works, and after talking & meeting with a Medtronic rep, hoping it was just a fluke, the second connect received doesnt work any better. I have my pump so why do I need the app? The app itself can only be used by the wearer of connect, NOT caregivers. They have to log onto care link, enter username & passwords only to find out there is a weak signal. This is both on wifi & 4g. If my app doesnt show weak signal it shows updating for a long time. Last time I tried it, over 20" before giving up. Nice try Medtronic, but PLEASE dont release products before theyre ready, & in this case... NOT READY.
And yes, another reviewer is right in saying that every time you open app, it says that the iOS is outdated but they are working on it. Ive had app & connect for almost two months & error still comes up. Sorry Medtronic, this is a miss especially at such a high cost.
